Depending on their chosen race, they can then select their class such as the Berserker, Crusader, Priest, Mage, and Ranger. Players can choose one of four races: Human, Varg, Elf, or Ippin. Players enter the world of Bless Unleashed by creating a character (who are generally called Pyreborne, referring to the events in the game's story). Players begin in the island of Telarion, which serves as the tutorial area.
The game world's setting is influenced by European aesthetics and historical events, specifically the Italian, French, and Spanish. Bless Unleashed is set in the world of Lumios.
